Volunteers are critical to the work of Santa Maria Urban Ministry, often outnumbering staff 4:1 or 5:1. Whether you’re sorting food, helping our guests, organizing clothes, lending a hand at events, or simply sharing a warm smile, your gift of time can offer hope and show dignity to our neighbors. In addition to making a tangible difference every day, many of our volunteers find the friendships and sense of family they discover makes their experience truly joyful.
